This Privacy Policy describes how ScoreLink Display ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Android TV application for displaying live sports tournament results.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

ScoreLink Display does not require account registration or login. The App does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers. You may optionally enter a tournament or organizer code to select which content to display on screen; this code is not linked to any personal identity.

ScoreLink Display does not send push notifications and does not collect a push notification token.

The App integrates the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

Analytics provider — usage analytics to help us understand how the App is used and improve performance.

We do not use third-party advertising services, and no advertising identifiers are collected by the App.

To provide core App functionality (displaying live tournament brackets, standings, and scores on screen)

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

Our infrastructure and hosting provider (Hetzner), which stores and processes data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes
Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law or to protect our legal rights
A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Data Retention

Because the App does not require an account, we do not retain personal data tied to individual users. Aggregated or anonymized usage and crash data may be retained as needed to maintain and improve the App.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encrypted transmission) to protect information processed by the App. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., under GDPR for EU/EEA users or similar regional laws), you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Request a copy of your data (data portability)
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in countries with different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
